 One of the most important things to us at Becker Properties is educating you about San Antonio and the real estate options you will find here. This city is incredibly diverse, and has many exciting areas in which to live; from the old historic homes found in the “King William District” to neighborhoods with lots that are 10 to 20 acres where you can be totally secluded and enjoy ultimate privacy, we absolutely have something for everyone.

We are going to give you the insider, unbiased, all access look. So without further adieu let’s look at our first neighborhood which happens to be Timberwood Park.

 Timberwood Park is a large San Antonio community located on the far north central side of town. This fully custom neighborhood is over 2,200 acres in the foothills of the beautiful Texas hill country. One of the nicest things about this particular neighborhood is that you can still purchase a lot that is big and you have some land around you, but you aren’t miles away from civilization. Timberwood Park is less than 3 miles from Hwy 281 and around 5 miles from Loop 1604. Another bonus is that there are no San Antonio city taxes until 2032, increasing your buying power!  Timberwood Park is only a few minutes from great shopping, health care, dining and schools which make this one of the very best communities in San Antonio to raise an active family in.

 Living in Timberwood Park also gives you access to their beautiful basketball, tennis and sand volleyball courts, playgrounds, pavilions, and picnic areas. Spend an afternoon sitting by the private lake, or try your hand at the par 3 golf course. You’ll have plenty of ways to get away, play a game of pick up volleyball, enjoy a meal under a huge oak tree, or tan in the Texas sun by the crystal clear community pool.
