I am a native Texan, grew up in McAllen, TX, graduated from McAllen High School.
Graduated from Rice University in 1974 with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. Spent the majority of my adult life raising 4 wonderful children. Joined Discovery Toys, an educational toy company, in 1991. Rose to the rank of Sr. Manager.

Earned my real estate license in 2001. Since then, I have also earned the Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation (ABR) and the Graduate, Realtor Institute designation (GRI) and Senior Residential Specialist (SRES). Graduate of the Texas Realtor Leadership Program (TRLP) in 2006. Earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation in 2003. Have served on the Board of Directors for the Alamo chapter since 2005. Awarded CRS of the Year for 2005.
Served as President of the Texas CRS Chapter, 2009. Awarded CRS Small Chapter of the Year from our National Council in 2009.

Member of several committees at the San Antonio Board of Realtors, including Education, Grievance, Realtor Rally, TREPAC, Equal Opportunity in Housing (Vice-Chair, 2010, Chairman, 2011). Chair of Communications Committee 2007. Elected to the Board of Directors at SABOR for 2008-2010; re-elected for 2011-13. Selected as a Member-at-Large for the Executive Committee in 2011. Selected as a Regional Vice President for Region 11 of the national Council of Residential Specialists, 2011-14. Secretary/Treasurer of San Antonio Board of Realtors, 2012. Chair of Budget/Finance and By-laws committees. Texas Association of Realtors: Director, 2012; member of Professional Development Management Team and Professional Standards committees.
